The Milken Institute recently ranked San Antonio as the top city in the nation for growth. Local officials are expecting over 10,000 new jobs in the area due to the massive Eagle Ford oil and gas discovery that is rapidly making an impact. Now is a good time to consider making an investment in commercial or residential property, particularly residential rentals. See Articles on Growth tab above.

The rapid growth of the Austin-San Antonio corridor continues. Back in May, it was announced that New Braunfels was the second fastest growing city over 50,000 people in the entire United States. We see that growth here in every corner of the market. The recent addition of the HEB Plus has further enhanced the 306 corridor and other commercial developments have taken shape in the vicinity including new retail and office there. The same is happening along the 46 corridor near the HEB store there with neighborhood strip centers going in. Big box centers have also been adding space while multi family projects and new construction abound throughout the city and especially near Creekside which has new office, retail, hotels, and more, not to mention new medical and industrial projects nearby.
